A career in financial services. A passion for building.
Shailendra Kumar Singh has spent his working life inside insurance and financial services across India and the Gulf. PrevidaHub is where that experience meets something he does from the heart: building digital tools that make money simpler.
Built from real challenges
Tracking investments across different places, planning for the family's future, working out loans and remittances, managing the cost of a wedding — he faced every one of these himself. Each time, he wished there was a simple, trustworthy tool that did it properly.
So he started building them. PrevidaHub's apps are the tools he wanted for his own life — made available to everyone facing the same questions.
Learning how financial promises are kept
His career began in life insurance in India, in underwriting and operations — where he learned that every policy is a long-term promise, and that keeping it depends on getting the unglamorous details right. He qualified as a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India along the way.
Building new businesses from the ground up
He moved to the Gulf and spent years helping to launch new insurance companies, enter new markets and bring new products to life — across life, health, takaful and bancassurance, working closely with banks, regulators and partners.
Owning the outcome
Today he leads a life, wealth and bancassurance business, bringing together operations, distribution, product and digital transformation — with a simple belief that the best financial products are the ones people can actually understand.
Digital, from the heart
Technology has always been his passion — the thing he does for the love of it. With PrevidaHub he designs and builds each app himself, starting with the simplest useful version and improving it from how people really use it.
The apps carry the habits of a career in regulated finance: exact numbers wherever money is involved, honest limits, and privacy designed in from the start.
A few principles behind every app
Simplify, don't add
Financial life is complicated enough. Good tools remove complexity instead of adding screens.
Clarity, control, confidence
Technology in finance should leave people calmer and more in charge — not chasing noise.
A wrong number is worse than none
On a money path, estimates must never pretend to be facts. If a figure can't be verified, say so.
Own outcomes
Success is whether the customer is better off — not whether a feature shipped.
Protection by design
Disclosure, suitability and privacy belong inside the product from the start, not bolted on later.
Earn trust slowly
No hype, no promises of wealth — just useful tools that do what they say.
